Jeff Gordon Wins In Phoenix And Picks Up His Second Trophy Of 2011 For Hendrick Automotive

Jeff Gordon Chevrolet won the 2010 GM Certified Used Vehicle Sales Leader Award and the first trophy of 2011 with the name "Jeff Gordon" inscribed on it in January. Gordon returned to Victory Lane at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday.

Gordon clinched his 83rd career victory in dominating fashion. He led six times for a total of 138 laps and beat Kyle Busch to the line by 1.137 seconds to win and move into a tie with Cale Yarborough for fifth on the all-time win list.

The victory gave Gordon his second trophy this year, after General Motors awarded Jeff Gordon Chevrolet the 2010 GM Certified Used Vehicle Sales Leader Trophy in January

Earning the top title for the ninth consecutive year, Jeff Gordon Chevrolet beat out over 600 other Southeast GM Certified Used Vehicles Dealers to win first place. Overall, GM Certified Used Vehicles sold more than 271,000 units in 2010.
