Jeff Gordon Chevrolet Sponsors National Wild Turkey Federation Banquet
As the official vehicle of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Chevrolet demonstrates its commitment to conservation and support of the men, women and children who enjoy the outdoors.
Chevrolet is pleased to announce that 2011 is our seventh year of continued partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation. The NWTF is one of the nation’s largest and most trusted upland habitat conservation organizations with members whose amazing passion has been proven in the outdoors.
Jeff Gordon Chevrolet will sponsorship a unique set of auction items for the Pender County Longbeards NWTF local Chapter Banquet which includes:
* ‘On Alert’ Whitetail Sculpture
* ‘Evening Glow’ Limited Edition Framed Print
* Limited Edition Collector’s End Tables
The NWTF banquets are where you can buy exclusive merchandise and have a great time with friends. All the while, you will be raising vital funds for wild turkey conservation and important programs that introduce the outdoors to women, children and the disabled.
The NWTF has more than 350,000 members and will hold over 2,300 banquets throughout the United States during 2011 in support of wildlife management on public, private and corporate lands as well as the conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage. These banquets are conducted by local NWTF Chapters, whose members are from the surrounding community.
The National Wild Turkey Federation is a national nonprofit conservation and hunting organization that, along with its volunteers, partners and sponsors, has worked for the conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of our hunting heritage.
When the NWTF was established in 1973, there were only 1.3 million wild turkeys. Today that number stands at more than seven million birds throughout North America, and hunting seasons have been established in 49 U.S. states, Canada and Mexico.
For more information on NWTF fund-raising banquets, contact your NWTF Regional Director or call (800) THE-NWTF.
