Daytona 500, February 17th, 2008
Jeff Gordon and the DuPont Chevrolet team started in 6th position in the 50th Daytona 500. What started out as a promising day soon encountered suspension problems which forced Jeff into the pit where the 24 crew worked tirelessly on the car so it could go back out and finish the race. Jeff finished the race in 39th place behind the winner Ryan Newman.
